Natalie is still enjoying her American Girl dolls and I am encouraging it as long as it lasts. Most girls her age would think this is childish, but she doesn't and I am glad. She had a lot of fun getting them ready for Easter.

Hope just recently (last month) let her Am. girl dolls go. I was sad and happy at the same time. I think you are right to encourage her to be a little girl...I think our world takes that away too soon.
I love American Girl dolls, and I'm so glad Natalie is still enjoying that stage of her life. Our society rushes childhood so much now. I remember playing with my Barbies until I was in 7th grade! Ah, those were the days!
